Whats happened?...

Its been a while since the Enduro and FB seems to have had the lions share of our updates.

But what have we been up to...

In December in place of our Christmas Race we held a Hrdcourt Polo Tournament, I'm sure it wont be the last time we do this as it was more fun than you can shake a mallet at!

This was followed in the evening by the Club's annual Christmas dinner at Life's a Beach.

We are looking at this years plans, and we hope to have another epic charity ride as well as the Enduro.

We're planning great things for our trails this year too, so keep an eye out for that!

Enduro 2017 Results

You lot totally rock!
Thank you all very much for making this third instalment so memorable.
As you may have figured this isn't what we do for a living.
We're a North Cornish MTB club that attempts to put on an event that we would like to go to. It may be a little lo-fi in places but I hope you all enjoyed as much as we did watching you all get plastered in mud and keeping on smiling though it all.
As its a local event pretty much all of your entry fee goes into making the event what it is with the goodies and the support (including all the behind the scenes insurance etc. etc). We source sponsorship from local companies, and everyone you saw helping the day are volunteers.
The results are below and we are comfortable (after many hours of sifting though them) that they are final. If there is anything glaring then please drop us an email.
Here's until next year!, keep and eye on our FB page for info next year. We will be keeping the number at 50 as we think this keeps the flow of the day and prevents too much waiting around and gives you all the best experience.
Cheers... Dept 26
Thanks to our sponsors.

Thank you!

What another great year!

The weather tried its best to scupper this years event but to be honest I think you'd all agree it just added to it!

42 riders started and finished this years event, with Richard Tucker taking the win, closely followed by Jack Delbridge and Ross Hancock.
Jeb Beresford was our fastest Vet and Amy Jones our fastest female.
You can view the full results here.

Well done to all that took part this year, and thank you all for making it  the great success it was.

We've taken down all the course markings now, and it was fantastic to see that everyone (spectators and riders) had taken out everything they had brought in. Respecting the environment whilst attending events like this is extremely important and you guys have done us proud!

As always the event would not have been possible without the support from our club members and their families. We are not an event company, so we fit this in around all we normally do during the day (and night).
For all of you that helped running the car parking, marshalling, providing refreshments, taking photos, timing, setting up, breaking down, building toilets, the list goes on and on... But really a great big THANK YOU for all of your help!

Images from the event will appear on our Facebook page as and when they become available.

So... until next year!?

Event Supporters

Our event is self supporting with the entry fee covering all the necessary elements of putting on the event.

So, to be able to provide you with that little extra and some goodies for the lucky winners, we are very proud to be supported by a number of great local companies.

Our close friends at our LBS at Southfork in Bude will be helping to bolster the goody bags for our winners and offering those essential last minute spares.

Mucky Nutz  have been protecting vital parts since 2009 and by developing new ideas and improving on existing ones, they have become a global brand with product distribution in over 30 countries.
Light, discrete, yet very effective, their guards are the original flexible guards and are used and endorsed by many pro DH and Enduro teams and riders, but are available to everyone in a variety of forms and colours.
Mucky Nutz have kindly given all riders Mucky Nutz Race Plate Supports (to which their race numbers will be applied) and are also topping up the winners goody bags with a selection of their products!

Once the event is over we strongly suggest a visit The Preston Gate  ,it is a great pub with great food and live music not too far from the race site, they are a continuous supporter of the club and we always like to reciprocate!
