Dig day - 25th January - Tiscott jumps - 9am

There is a dig day on the 25th Jan at 9 am at the jumps. Myself and Deano have been there today (18th Jan) and raked every existing line as well as the lines that are yet to be built. There are a few more possible lines but the ones we have organised so far are more than enough to be going on with! See the pictures below for more of an explanation of the different lines...

First up is the new up route. We have redirected this so that it gets to the top of the bank, as usual, but then swings a left and travels around the back of the site, up to the top where the jumps start.

From here you can choose any of the lines you like. On the far left (looking down from the top) you have the gully run. This will be, if we go with the rating system discussed at the meeting, a 2 spot run. This means it will be a medium difficulty.

You can see the next line along in the photo above. This is the one that leads into the jump shown below. This jump works a treat already but can easily be made into something friendlier. Probably be a 1 spot line.

Next up is the central line. Jago and Ryans new line is going to have to merge with the central line as there is nowhere for it to go. The central line is perfect for building a medium ish table top next to the existing gap jump. This is where I suggest we start on the 25th. This line then leads into the existing tabletop. See below. 1 spot / 2 spot line.

Below is the existing table top that the central line runs into.

Next line over is the big line. This is a 3 spot line and won't be changing too much. Fill in the gap in the jump perhaps? See below.

Next line over is Shaun's drop into the double followed by the berms leading down to the house. This is a 2 spot / 3 spot line and would be something to work up to. See below.

This line comes down here. This will have be rerouted to the left so that it doesn't interfere with the other line.

Last up for now is the line on the far left side (looking up from the bottom) running next to the new up route track. This is going to be the easier of the two runs that are going to go from the top all the way to the house and continue on into the XC loop. See below. This will be a 1 spot line so there are easy and hard options for top to bottom runs.

Right, thats it for now! As well as creating jumps on the new lines there is also filling in of gaps, improving berms, removing logs etc to be done on all of the existing lines.

So come on up on the 25th at 9am and get involved!!
