Department 26 are excited to announce the 2017 UCI World Downhill Championship Fantasy League Competition.
Excited might be an over-statement.
How to enter.
- Go to the list found here which has male and female riders and their costs.
- Choose 4 male and 1 female rider that together cost £1Million or less. A calculator to help you do this can be found HERE, you will need Excel to open it.
- Email this list, along with a team name, and your name, to dept26fantasydh@gmail.com.
- You can make two changes to your team, these must be emailed to the above address before the day of qualifications. All changes must be less than or equal to £1M.
- Points will be added based upon the UCI scheme (which includes both qualification and overall finish position). Examples can be found here.
- The events that will go towards the competition are below:
- April 29-30: (DHI) Lourdes, France
- June 3-4: (DHI) Fort William, Scotland
- June 10-11: (DHI) Leogang, Austria
- July 1-2 (DHI) Vallnord, Andorra
- July 8-9: (DHI) Lenzerheide, Switzerland
- August 5-6: (DHI) Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada
- August 26-27: (DHI) Val di Sole, Italy
- September 5-10: (DHI) UCI World Championships, Cairns, Australia
- You can change your team up until qualifiers (day before), but don’t do it too much because it will be a pain in the arse for me.
- We will try to be accurate as possible with any changes to results being accommodated.
- Team results will be posted shortly after the event along with points awarded.
- Prizes to be confirmed, but don’t get overly excited.
- Judges decisions are final, argue if you want, but you’ll be ignored.
