Is there anything interesting happening in March?

Well yes, yes there is. What an excellent question.

There is the next round of the Tavi woods DH series on the 17th March. Another excellent opportunity for everyone to go for a nice walk somewhere, get their hair done, have a nice game of Scrabble and generally ignore this excellent chance to get some PROPER Mega training in! See HERE for details.
Looks like we will be getting a new coffee shop, I mean bike shop in town, see HERE for details or see the other post before this one.
Don't go into Canada woods on the 9th or 10th of March. The archers are going to be in there doing whatever it is they do. Im not talking about the cast of the long running radio 4 show either. They have been instructed to shoot and kill anything that looks like its having fun.
Vinny is offering to service peoples forks for free as long as they are old (this offer does not apply to other types of cutlery)
There is the usual rides taking place at 7pm on a Wednesday and 7.30am on a sat morning. Meeting at River Life Bistro.
Why not get on down to the Yoga studio on Burn view. Monday nights at 7.15pm. Great opportunity to see Bifta kick himself in the head and listen to Damo making strange noises wearing a lycra onesie.
Some of the red sections at Cardinham are opening this month, looks pretty good as well. I saw several guys on full DH rigs, full face helmets and full body armour riding the BLUE trail last weekend! I wonder what they are going to wear once the red sections open up? Click HERE for more info.

There is also the monthly club meeting / pint at some point. Keep an eye on the phone for details.

HAVE A GOOD MONTH!

Exciting news!! New bike shop in town!

The exciting news delivery pigeon just flew in through the window and dropped this little gem off....

South Fork (a bike shop in Braunton) are opening up shop in Bude! This is very good news, theres talk of a coffee machine, servicing, a huge range of bikes to suite everybody's tastes, a coffee machine, 0% finance, Dept.26 loyalty cards and discounts and best of all, its going to be headed up by Mr Leigh Gregory. Everybody knows Leigh, he comes out for a ride, hurts himself in a fairly serious way, disappears for a while, comes out for a ride, hurts himself in a fairly serious way, disappears for a while...

At least now we know he will be safe, he will be in here out of harms way.

This could become an excellent base for club rides etc. I hear it should be up and running in a matter of weeks. Watch this space.

Sampson Solicitors sponsors Dept.26 racing

Id just like to take this opportunity to once again thank Sampson solicitors for sponsoring Dept.26 events. The next race will be towards the end of August and will once again be supported by Sampson Solicitors. Gemma has even mentioned something about an after race BBQ, which certainly caught my attention!
