It was wet, warmer than it should be and very very slippy.
Perfect conditions for a Christmas Race!
13 club members took to the Mini Enduro Course which used the three Tiscott sections of the Dept 26 Enduro Course. We had Robocop, the obligatory Elf and and Jon with his ar*e out.

The day was then topped off with the Club Dinner held at River Life and then afters at The Preston Gate), where Large attained member of the year and Dom got the Bullseye (again) for his Photoshop antics that clearly did not go unnoticed.
So all that is left for this year is to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great year of riding ahead!

Enduro 2015
What a day that was!
Our inaugural event the Dept 26 Enduro 2015 has just come to a close.
We had a total of 36 riders start (and finish!) from across the south of England.
The event was won overall by Ben Moore and our fastest lady was Rachel Gurney both internationally experienced racers who both openly expressed how much they loved the terrain and the event we had put on.
So its all over... until next time!
Following all the great feedback we have had from both racers and spectators, we have already started to look at planning an event for a similar time next year.
Thank you to all who helped in this event, it was no mean feat to put together and without your combined help it would not have been the success it was.
Full results of the event can be found here.
Photos of the event are posted on our FB page here

Could it be the start of things to come?
Dry, dusty and sunny!
Wednesday nights still seem to attract the largest numbers and last night was no exception.
A change up from normal saw a link of long runs, rather than the short sharp efforts we normally put together, enabling the group to cover a good distance in good time.
Everyone seemed to be making the most of the dry, the woods were buzzing with club riders doing loops and the DH/Freerider crew running in all the recent updates to Spookies.
Summer already?

Spring Trail Update

Coming into spring the trails are looking great, with a great deal of work having been done (and continuing to be done).
The last dig day saw the link between the two sections of 'Down is the old up' being made to avoid having to cross back on to 'A39B', this rides really well and come the dryer weather will make this trail a fast favourite.
You can see from the above images that Ben 10 and the crew of Trail engineers have been incredibly busy ensuring that that 'Spookies' is nearing completion, by completion we mean not only rebuilding and structuring the run but also the inclusion of ride arounds for some of the larger hits which the trail builders endeavour to include as not to deter anyone from building their way up in trail and jump skills.
The trail map has been refreshed to include both the new link and of course to include the 'Spookies' section.
See you out there!
